Project Title
Transformer is important to the electric power systems, and its accurate performance monitoring or fault diagnosis is still hard.The monitoring system based on IOT technology consists of two parts: a data measurement subsystem and a data reception subsystem. The system can acquire data from different sensors. And this data can be saved to the cloud system synchronously with the memory card on the monitoring system. In this system parameters like input & output voltage, current and oil level are monitored using the low cost Node MCU microcontroller. In this study, it is aimed to develop a low cost and open source performance monitoring system that can be alternative to high cost monitoring systems in the literature.Project Objectives

When above mentioned cases are increasing or decreasing transformer tells us with the help of LCD or sensors.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable- By using the IoT and protection algorithm, a smart self-protection system is designed for the transformer. Where, if any major fault (overvoltage, over current, etc.) detected in transformer monitoring system transformer alerts us.
- If transformer is not serviced in low oil quality, low oil level, the system will send alert.
