Our project (IoT Based Hybrid charge controller with Raspberry Pi).The continuous expansion of society, human hold increasingly demands more to the world’s energy sources. Generally there are two available methods of electrical power generation. First, by utilizing non–renewable (i.e. conventional) energy resources such as coal, oil, gas, etc. Second, electrical power generated from renewable (i.e. non-conventional) energy resources such as solar, wind, hydro, tidal, biomass, geothermal, etc. Currently, electrical power is generated by centrally operated bigger generating units which are connected in a grid. These generating units are mostly installed at the outskirts of the big cities or in areas nearby to energy resource centers. These units produce energy by burning conventional resources of fuel which produces greenhouse gases as byproduct during combustion process.
Our project objectives are shown below:
The first and main objective of our project is minimizing the energy crisis and in a cheap cost.
30% of the Pakistan's population in remote areas has no access to this unavoidable source of energy because of their far distant from the grid. Through this motive we will reduce this issue.
It is Eco-friendly and doesn't impact on the environment.
Our project implementation method is easy and simple structure. This is based on IoT and sensors, which makes it efficient.The IoT send data through Gsm/wifi module to the cloud.Also Energy storage system (ESS) is used for the backup.
There are three main benefits of our project
1)The first is minimizing the energy crisis and in a cheap cost.
2) This system can be installed on the outside at any where.
3)These sources are easily available at any where in a low coast.
Use of IoT help us to make system efficient and good.
Energy storage system (ESS) also installed because when both of these are sources are goes down, then we will use ESSs.
This system installed at open surface where sun light and wind is available.
