Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryAgricultural automation is an interesting and
challenging research area. This paper presents a self-made
mechanical design of a lawn mower which is fully automated.
It is an actual working machine (not a prototype model) that
has the capability to level the lawn grass. The power is
supplied by a DC battery, charged by a solar panel. The
project is microcontroller based which is navigated and
controlled by an android application, giving complete control
of the hardware to the users. The main and important feature is
the automated cutting level adjustment which means that it
will be able to cut the grass at different height levels in inches.
Furthermore, the project is based on Internet of Things. This
paper elaborates the hardware implementation of the project
and its different applications in domestic, commercial and
agriculture areas. This project has an enormous future scope in
agricultural field because by further development as it is a first
step towards a fully automated, multi-purposed agricultural
machine.

- Rated power of 3 wiper motors = 50x3=150 Watts
- Rated power of 1 power window motor=30 Watts
- Rated power of 1 Radiator fan motor=80 Watts
- Rated power of Watering pump=20 Watts
- Total Power Consumed=280 Watts
- Rated load Current of 3 wiper motors=5x3=15amps
- Rated load Current of 1 power window motor=4 amps
- Rated load Current of 1 Radiator fan motor=8 amps
- Rated load Current of Watering pump=1.5 amps
- Total rated load Current Consumed=28.5 amps
Total operational Time= 50AH/28.5A = 1.754 hours
Battery Specification= 12volts(50AH)
