Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryThe fundamental purpose of propose project is to contribute in home security in present technological and emerging computing field such as Internet of Things(IoT) and Image processing.
Living standards of human beings are shifting by embedding smart systems. Establishing Home security and owner privacy is measuring with different angles such as smart lock, image processing based door locking, finger printing, passcode lock, remotely home monitoring, surveillances cameras installation and physical guard less home security.
Propose system comprises on Design and Implementation of the Smart Door Lock System with Face Recognition. Face recognition and face detection are used to get an access to an automatic door access system. Automatic face detection and recognition are done using Image Processing Techniques. Motion sensors used to detect human activities and camera use to capture after that the image is send to the database. If the image matches with the admin's image that’s are authorized face then the door is unlocked if it does not match send notification to admin with image on smart phone(android) if the admin allow the face then the door is unlocked else the alert shown you are not allowed . Remotely home monitoring is possible using propose system in which owner can monitor home and localize.
Project ObjectivesFundamental objective of propose project is to applying Image Processing and real time owner authentication system for smart home applications. The system replaces traditional door locks which uses mechanical key or RFID cards. These traditional ways can be threatening if the keys or card is misplaced. Hence to avoid such incidents, we use Smart System for Home Security applying Image Processing technology to give access of the house only to the Owner or the faces who are allow by the owner of the house. Everyone has a unique face and the chances that some other can open the door is very less. Also, we implement alert security notification system in our door locks. If unauthorized face tries to enter the house, owner of the house will be notified on smart phone and he can make necessary actions. We choose face as our key because it is more reliable and hassle-free way to open the door. The system is user friendly and more secure.
The main objectives are to implement a more reliable way in door lock system. Hassle-free and user-friendly way to access the door.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableProposed system will be a smart product which will be install in home And an Android application. Propose product will comprises of a kit Arduino, RIP sensors that sense the human motions in a certain range when the human enter to the specified rang of cameras, camera capture the image and send to the database. Match the image If the image matches with the admin's images then unlock the door if does not match send image to admin on smart phone (android app) if the admin allow the face then the door is unlocked else the alert shown you are not allowed.
