This project intends to integrate automation such as speech recognition and bring it in homes by being deployed in the dressing table mirror. This smart dressing table will enable people to perform their tasks by this proposed mirror while interacting less with other different devices. The interactive dressing table can be made easier for elder and disable people to use all the features of smart-phones & Smart TVs. It also provides news, calendar, mails, weather information and also allows playback of audio and videos. This is the time now when heads will be up and hands will be set free. One of its features, which is very helpful for people is a monitoring system for their workplace or home which allows user to monitor their place directly from a smart-phone or another smart device while not being present there. This smart dressing table will be able to perform all the features of android and smart tv, it will also have multiple options to operate, the user will be having multiple options to operate it such as through voice, other smart devices, keyboard, and mouse. 
 

Project Objectives

A smart dressing table mirror is a simple mirror enhanced with technology. With the interactive dressing table, a user can interact and access information during their daily routine. This smart dressing table aims to reduce and eliminate the effort and time of the user to check other devices such as a computer (PC), tablet, smartphones and more and provides information with little to no efforts. During work or studies other devices can be distractive for users, time carrying and could be difficult to access information for elders and people with disabilities. But this Smart dressing table can communicate from the user through voice which makes it easier for disable and older people and less distractive.

Project Implementation Method

The Project mainly focuses on native language understanding so that the user does not need to remember any of the technical commands to use the features of the smart dressing table. Its voice and speech recognition system makes the dressing mirror easy for the user to use. To analyze how comfortable, it will be with the presence of an interactive dressing table and the problems that occur without a smart mirror in the home and work environment.

The main benefit of a smart TV is access to a large number of channels that offer TV programs, movies, and music without the need to connect a TV antenna or subscribe to a cable/satellite service. Also, some smart TVs provide web browsing, gaming, and access to compatible media content stored on your computer. 

Features of Desktop PC:
A computer is a machine that accepts data as input, processes that data using programs, and outputs the processed data. Many computers can store and retrieve information using hard drives. Computers can be connected together to form networks, allowing connected computers to communicate with each other. Common uses: Playing computer games, Solving math problems, Watching TV and movies, Listening to music, Communicating with other people, Sending e-mail.

The operating environment of the smart dressing table includes hardware and software components

Hardware Components:

Two-Way Mirror:  A one-way mirror, also called two-way mirror (or one-way glass, half-silvered mirror, and semi-transparent mirror), is a reciprocal mirror that is reflective on one side and transparent at the other. 


LED Monitor:  LED monitor is placed behind the two way mirror at the corner, so it should not disturb the look of person looking in the dressing mirror.
