Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject Summary| The idea of our project is that we will make smart fruit sorting machine which sort the fruit on basis of color, shape, size and also recognize that fruit is fresh or not.it will be by placing fruits on conveyer belt. at the start of conveyer belt the sensor is placed which detect that fruit is present on conveyer belt then conveyer belt will move forward towards camera the other sensor is placed near the camera which indicate that fruit is front of camera when the sensor will send high signal to microcontroller then the conveyer belt will stop and camera will examine the fruit .on the behalf of detection the fruit will sort with the help of actuator which hit the fruit and the fruit will fall down in separate buckets .actuator will act when the sensors will send the signal to actuator to hit the fruit which is placed on actuators. The benefit of product is that it is one time investment rather than to pay number of employee for sorting and examine the quality of fruits.it will reduce your working time with high accuracy and efficient output. It will target at supermarkets like makro , imtiaz etc , and fruit suppliers companies or small unit of supplier. The following basic technologies are used in project.

The waterfall method is sequential and linear approach to develop any software. We will use Waterfall methodology for this because it’s commonly and widely used in this kind of system where we have a complete user requirements. It also identifies deliverable and milestone of a project. And it is a good thing that system is well define before it design. There are several phases in this methodology and we are going to work according to sequence of these phases.

3. Design.
4. Coding / Implementation.

1. Requirements:
In this phase we collect the potential requirements from the customers for identify and justify the functional and non-functional requirements. The given guidelines and deadlines.
2. Analysis:
In this phase we analyzed the model for project feasibility of the project and risk and budgeting are also considered in this phase. What programing language we are going to use for front end and what programing language we are using for backend. What database will be considered?
3. Design
In this phase the architecture of the program going to be written in the next phase is created in this phase. Like we design the use cases with narrative, entity relationship diagrams that how our system works for users.
4. Coding / Implementation :
In this phase we start coding our project and start to implement
5. Testing
After we coded the system the testing phase of the software is started. In this phase we check that is there is any flaw or problem is available in our written code as well as if our system is work properly according to the given requirements and according to the documentation. And if there is any flaw available than it will be corrected and the testing phase is again carry out.
6. Deployment
We test the application in the system for more testing if there is no flaw detected than we deploy the web application for domain and hosting.
7. Maintenance
Corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance is carried out in this phase to improve, enhance and update our final result.

The project is design sorting of fruits. Machine will sort the ruit with the help of image processing.User will place fruit to check the quality of fruit camera will examine the fruit color , shape,texture,size, and spots on it. after the examine actuator sort the fruit.
