Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryAs we all know that in the last four to five years a lot of automobile were stolen due to lack of proper security system. We inquire in some police station that in the last three years 3 to 4 thousand automobile were stolen from Peshawar city now people are afraid because there is no safer place where they can park their vehicle. Last year our friend car was stolen and the reason for stolen car was he had no proper security system that's where we start thinking of designing a lock system which will protect our automobiles. We are doing a project for proper lock system and its name is "Intelligent antitheft system for automobile".
This system will protect the vehicle from unauthorized person it will only work on owner. It will recognize the owner face and finger print by using face recognition camera and biometric system and then it will start the automobile. If an unidentified person appear in front of the camera this system will send a message to the owner and will get two option first is for recognition of the person and second is for unknown person if owner press first option the system will start the automobile and if press the second option then it will lock all things and start a horn which will inform the people and owner.
Project Objectives- To design an Anti-theft system which can send notification to an end-user device
- To design a secure lock system
- To start the automobile with GSM
- Auto lights on/Off by using sensor
- Auto indicator using sensor
- Real time location of the automobile in case of accident
In implementation the design and ideas which we have decided to be fulfill one by one. The components we use in our project are:
- Arduino.
- GSM module.
- Sensors
- Relays.
- Crash sensor.
- Adafruit FONA808 (GPS).
We will make a procedure that will be instruction for implementation purpose.
The connection of the whole equipment's will be perfectly attached to each other to make the project workable and then apply it on automobile and check it whether it is working or not. If it's not working then we will modify it and make it workable.
It take a lot of research for instrument which will be used and how it can be used and why are we using these type of instrument like we are using Arduino why we do not use microcontroller it's because in Arduino the programing is very to understand and very simple, short and if addition of somethings occur you can easily add in it. Why we use crash sensor (SENO138) why not other type because it's very sensible to pressure it's actuated by very little physical force.
Benefits of the ProjectThis project will give people hope for parking their automobiles anywhere in their country. They will feel safe in their surroundings. Their automobiles will be safe for any kind of thieves.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableHardware and application (software) implemention on the vehicle for the proposed intelligent antitheft system. It will be in working conditions.
