Our project is image to text converter that can take image from the picture and the text written into the image is stored into tha ms or clipboard 

Project Objectives

The  objective of OCR software is to recognize the text and then convert it to editable form. Thus, developing computer algorithms to identify the character in the text is the principal task of OCR. A document is first scanned by an optical scanner, which produces an image form of it that is not editable.

Project Implementation Method

Once the crop button is pressed the image is send to the Tesseract OCR engine module. Tesseract is an offline and open source OCR engine. Tesseract treats the input image as polygonal binary area. The image is converted to bitmap by locally adaptive Otsu threshold binarization
