We have identified a very pertinent problem faced by the people of our country, that is, injuries/casualties caused by dog bites or attacks. Through this project we will try to limit such incidents. Our goal is to develop an android based application by using artificial intelligence that recognizes Stray Dogs through their behaviors or physical attributes and also implement a reporting mechanism for users. Furthermore, provide basic precautions while tackling or encountering the aggressive Dogs and also provide some basic medical instructions if in case attacked by them. | | Project Objectives |
- To ensure safety of humans.
- To make sure safety of dogs by reporting them to concerned animal rescue authorities so that they are not abused or killed for their actions.
- To detect infections or diseases (rabies) in dogs and prevent them from spreading to other animals and human beings.
- To provide basic precautions while encountering the aggressive Dogs, as well as provide some basic medical instructions in case of injury.

We will implement our project through waterfall model. Phases of implemented method as follows: - Requirement gathering and Analysis: All possible requirements of the system to be developed are captured in this phase and documented in a requirement specification document.
- System Design: The requirement specifications from first phase are studied in this phase and the system design is prepared. This system design helps in specifying hardware and system requirements and helps in defining the overall system architecture.
- Coding / Implementation: With inputs from the system design, the system is first developed in small programs called units, which are integrated in the next phase. Each unit is developed and tested for its functionality, which is referred to as Unit Testing.
- Integration and Testing: All the units developed in the implementation phase are integrated into a system after testing of each unit. Post integration the entire system is tested for any faults and failures.
- Deployment of system: Once the functional and non-functional testing is done; the product is deployed in the live environment.

- It will give precautions to the people that might encounter any aggressive Dogs and what to do in certain situations.
- It will provide medical instructions to anyone that has been attacked by a Dog.
- It will provide a reporting system if someone locates a Dog that is harming others or is infected and needs to be treated to the concerned animal rescue authorities.
- This in case will provide a safe environment for both humans as well as animals.
