If a person is not with their family or friends or traveling alone, the person might not feel safe because of the major problems in our society nowadays. This proposed device is an emergency system which informs the guardian about the danger. This device can be with a person in his bag or pocket. It is easy to carry the device with more features and functions.
The main purpose of this device is to intimate the guardian about the current location. This is a hardware and software integration based project, as well as an Android application, in which map will opened by the coordinates and vehicle type will be detected in case of any mishap. The model is useful for a human of any age. In the proposed project, a button can be pressed when a human is in danger or feeling insecure. The fingerprint will be scanned and when fingerprint scanner stops working such that no finger can be scanned within a minute, a help message will be sent to the pre-defined number and buzzer will start alarming the people around the device.
This project includes the GPS, GSM, LCD, and some other hardware modules and an android application installed in the guardian cell phone which will help to locate the human using the device when needed or in trouble. If the switch is pressed, the controller takes the current location information from the GPS module and sends data to the predefined number using a GSM modem. It should be operated in an open area in order to detect the latitude and longitude locations faster.
The program will be developed in ‘C’ language. The purpose of this project is to feel safe and secure. The main benefit of this proposed project is that human does not need a cell phone.
As human beings are facing critical issues and many other problems regarding safety measures, this device will help the person to solve this issue technically and without buying different gadgets. This proposed project can overcome the fear of danger, harassment and human can feel safe while traveling alone. It will help human of any age when they’re in danger zone. A human can make a rescue of themselves in dangerous situations. This proposed device can be used to remove or decrease the tension and human will never feel helpless in any situation.
It is a one system device with low cost, high-performance and fast response. People do not need to carry a different device with them like smart phone. The proposed device does not need the internet. This device can be used for the safety of physically challenged people. Proposed device can be used as legal evidence of a crime with exact location information for prosecution. It is compact in size. A human can make a rescue of themselves in dangerous situations.
Project Objectives- The objective of this proposed system is to use the GPS and GSM modules that enable tracking system and provides information such as time, position and speed of a carrying person.

The proposed project provides safety to humans from danger and physical or sexual abuse. It provides the facility to secure human by GPS and GSM modules. In some cases, cell phones are not allowed in schools and colleges, many of the aged people don’t know how to use. We are implementing this smart system for the user by adding more features. This proposed device is a single button system. We are making an Android application which can help in tracking and detecting.
Physical security of people is a rising concern. With the proliferation of wearable, mobile and fixed IoT(Internet of Things) devices, cloud and fog computing, it is possible to continuously monitor an individual and take proactive and in-time decisions to prevent any mishap. This ensures that the most relevant decision is taken in the least amount of time for each scenario. Although they have designed this framework for physical security of people, however, with slight modifications, it can be applied in other domains as well as smart health monitoring, smart cities, and so on.
This system designs the GPS & GSM network positioning technology to deliver a location-based service for tracking and detecting human. In this project, GPS and GSM feature were utilized to emulate the tracking and detection process. With the extensive use of smartphones and mobile applications, this model is useful to identify the location of a person in a public area and may benefit parents in monitoring and tracking their children whereabouts.
This device is more like a safety system in case of emergency. This device can be fitted in a jacket. It is easy to carry system with more features and functions. The emergency push button is held to one of the buttons of the jacket. The main purpose of this device is to inform the parents and police about the current location of the women, child or any old man.

The main purpose of this device is to intimate the guardian about the current location. This is a hardware and software integration based project, as well as an Android application, in which map will be open by the coordinates and vehicle type will be detected in case of any mishap and many other features. The model is useful for a human of any age. A button can be pressed to activate the system. The fingerprint will be scanned and if no fingerprint will be scanned, a message will be sent to the pre-defined number.
In this module, when the device is active and in case of any mishap or trouble, the message will automatically send to the pre-defined number, when the thumbprint will not be scanned within a minute. The message contains a help message along with coordinates i.e. latitude and longitude. The map can be opened automatically by using an android application which can be used with the device and can be installed in the guardian’s cellphone to locate the victim’s exact location.
Save locations before the button is pressed
The person who is carrying this proposed device with them can be located at any time because of their previous locations before pressing the button can be recorded in the application. The android application could have this feature of saving all the previous locations from where the person carrying device was passing through.
The android application could have the feature of saving the history of all locations before and after the button can be pressed. The user can check the history of any day through the application on that specific day where the person carrying device was. All the locations can be marked by a prominent sign or color which simply shows the map of a person locating him.
In case of any mishap for example kidnapping or any other danger. The proposed application can be used to detect the type of vehicle on which the victim could be. Type of vehicles contains a bike, car, truck, van, etc.
Speed calculation of the vehicle
If a problem occurred and the victim is kidnapped or harassed and is taken by the culprit on any vehicle, the speed of the vehicle can be calculated that on which rate the vehicle is. The speed limit is measured in km/h.
If a person using the proposed device is walking, the step count can be measured and can be checked through the android application. And if the person carrying device is on any vehicle, the distance can be measured. This module is useful even when any mishap occurs, the device can calculate the distance covered by the culprit and help the guardian to find the victim.
This module contains the feature that how many times the proposed device is used by pressing the button which activates the device. This might help the person to check how many times the person is traveling alone or on some dark alley or any remote area.
