Project Summary

Our aim is to develop a project that will generate human face using deep learning algorithms.
The project uses different features of human face to develop a successful image. The project manipulate an image of a person by using these facial featues.The project comprises of three modules.The first module will generate artificial or fake human face for which deep learning algorithms are used that will train itself from the data set and generate the human face. At second module we will extract the feature of the image by using feature extraction algorithm. At third module variation will be generated in the face by changing the facial features at run time for which sliders will be provided in the GUI. The GUI of a project will contain the generated image and the sliders that will change the feature of the face. Other options such as save and reset will also be provided. We have make use of the most state of the art algorithms and techniques of machine learning in our project, thus making our project stand the meet of the modern world. Face generation field is new to world and lot of work is needed to be done and lot of difficulties and areas are needed to address our project will address some of those.

Project Objectives

The aim of the project is to learn and implement  a GAN(Generative Adversal Network),the most state of the art technique in the neural network. The project aim to generate the artificial human face with high accuracy which match the real human. Project also uses modern feature extraction techniques of machine learning to extract the most accurate features of a face. The project can be used in many field of real life such as sketching , animation industry ,game industry etc.

Keras v2.24:( Keras is a powerful easy-to-use Python library for developing and evaluating deep      learning models.)

Matplotlib v3.0.3:(It provides an object-oriented API for embedding plots into applications using general-purpose GUI toolkits like Tkinter, wxPython, Qt, or GTK+).

OpenCv v4.1.0:(OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision) is a library of programming functions mainly aimed at real-time computer vision)

Scikit-learn v0.20.2:( It features various classification, regression and clustering algorithms. )

Benefits of the Project

Face is an important feature of human body and learning facial feature is quite a difficult task and with our project not only we can generate human face but can also be modified or change facial features. Our project can help people from a different walk of life due to its vast applications.
It can reduce the task of police sketcher by generating the face in  short time. It can help animator to create the face for its animation. Not only these face can be generated but can be modified easily with the changing requirement.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

With the final product user will be able to generate an artificial human face. After generation of the face, a user can manipulate facial feature or change them according to its need. Facial manipulation will be achieved by the use of different buttons and slider provided in the Graphical User Interface(GUI) of the product.
