The proposed project is a smart appointment booking system that provides patients an easy way of booking an OPD appointment online. This is a web based application that overcomes the issues of managing and booking appointments according to patient’s choice or demands. This portal facilitates both the patients and Hospital managment. In Manual system, the patients go to hospital and wait in Queue for hours to get OPD chit on payment for their examination. On other side, he management feels hardship to serve  large number of patients manuall on daily basis.

Hence this project offers an effective solution where users can view various booking slots available and select the preferred Depatement, Doctor & day.  The system provides an additional feature of online payment, which will be compulsory for every patient. Administration has to just feed only Departement and  Doctors data and available time slots. The  client will come online and will register himself by providing CNIC number, then can apply to get appiontment with choice Department of Doctors and will pay online through easy paisa/jazz cash.

Project Objectives

1. The primary objective of the project is to design a centralized system that facilitate both the outdooor patients and Hospotal's management.

2. Reduce/Eliminate the huge rush at Hospital end while managiing the OPD manually.

3. Saves valuable time of patients and Hospital's management.

4. Proper control of management over the OPD system.

5. Transparency in OPD payments system.

6. Effecient time management of Doctors.

Project Implementation Method

This project implementation will follow the standard method of implementing online application.

The complete implementation of system consists of maily two modules, One of client-side and other on server-side.

The serve-side data will be provided by Hospital side administrator, while  the client will come online through mobile or any other device and will apply for appointment through online payment system.

For front-side implementation, the tools, HTML, CSS, JavaSript & PHP will use while for back-end, MySql will use.

Deliverable are:

• The client can search Departments, doctor details and Rooms in target Hospital online
• The clients can view the number of registered patients data
• The administration side can take hard copy of registered patients for keeping record
• Provide efficient way to manage inventory
• Generate different reports for effective decisions-making.
• Online form for patients to request for their appointment.
• Email notification in case of appointment.
• Admin panel to monitor and manage the system.
