Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject Summary

This is a hybrid application which will allow the users to donate different things such as wearable clothes, food items (Ration), to the poor and needy people using their mobile devices.

This Application can be used by different welfare trusts and organizations that provide a platform to donate old clothes and ration to all people in need.

There is a significant increase in the amount of waste in terms of clothes and require food items (ration) for poor or needy people. It creates the need for help with donations. This project introduces ‘HOPE DONATION’, a new online program that provides a platform to donate old wearable clothes and food items (ration) for all poor people. It provides information about the motivation to come up with such an application, thus explaining the existing donation system and how the proposed product works for community development. The product is shown as an effective way to donate items for poor peoples over the internet. It shows the potential for avoiding the wastage of clothes.

In highly populated countries such as Pakistan, food items (ration), and clothing shortages are a major problem. Food items (ration) shortages not only indicate population but also many economic problems. We can use them by donating to various organizations or needy people such as orphanages, nursing homes, etc. Most people do not realize how many clothes they throw away instead of thinking that giving to the poor or needy people.
