Architectural floor plans have a critical job in comprehension, structuring and redesigning the spaces. They tend to provide a better visualization of the floor plan, compared to the mainstream 2-d plans. A user could understand how his/her property will most probably look in the future.

Using an 3d experience makes the client feel more involved in the design process. The basic idea of our project is the automation of the process of converting a 2-dimensional floor plan into a 3-dimensional model for a higher level of understanding for individuals who do not have the technical expertise to comprehend or read the 2d floor plan.

Project Objectives

As technical professionals, architects sell designs. In order to sell these designs better, one can allow everyone, regardless of their background to understand a design. With the help of this application architects can save the cost of getting 2D floor plans being converted into 3D by professional 3D designer. Architects and customers can save time by viewing 3D model on the go.

Project Implementation Method

The software should be written in python language. The primary candidate tool chains are visual studio and programming in C++. Program must be quick in conversion of image to save time. Database must be strong to store both 2D and 3D image
