Through the smart plug, information on all loads in the home is monitored and collected to an energy management center. Load profiles are managed, and the loads are classified dynamically based on the profiles in the center. If Solar generated energy is insufficient, the energy supply is maintained by curtailing some loads. Through the Controller, energy management by cooperation based on the communication of the smart plugs and inverter.
Project ObjectivesThe home energy management system through a smart plug includes both energy consumption and renewable energy generation.PIC is used to measure and transfer the power and energy of home appliances at the outlets and the lights. By considering both energy consumption and generation simultaneously, The home energy management system through a smart plug can optimize home energy use and result in energy cost saving.
•Our goal is to build a smart plug(SYSTEM), which utilize maximum power from solar by telling the user about their solar power generation and consumption.

Project Implementation MethodTo show the feasibility of our proposed system of home energy management system through a smart plug implemented with a home server. It is installed into the outlets and lights to measure the power and energy of home appliances and lights. The user interface of a remote energy management server for home energy information. It shows various statistical data in several aspects. The smart device application is developed to monitor the status of load consumption and other variables.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn the final product, we have a controller which control all the system we have different sensors which give the value of current and voltage of solar panels at real-time.we have set of primary and secondary load board on which our all equipment is connected.we have display LED and a compact board in which our system working, and last not least we have Mobile Application on which we see data logging and also controlling our load through this Application.
