The models will be displayed in a 3D form for the students to understand easily.
Also, the concept of book reading will be maintained as the project will also encourage students to read a separate book simultaneously encouraging them to keep books as the first and foremost priority with augmented reality technology to be understood by the students through the mobile application.
Project ObjectivesThis project will meet the following objectives:

- Will make digitized learning easier
- Will allow the students to understand Islam and its events more easily
- Will allow the user to detect, map, fetch QR codes and display the screens in a much more user friendly way
Being more specific about the project, the basic need of accomplishment revolves around the need for younger generation to understand the proper concepts of Islam rather than considering it something close to hypothesis, etc. The goal is important to be achieved in order for STEM education to form grounds and enable greater and deeper establishment of educational standards locally. Students, government and the educational sector need to be the major target for this cause. Resources involved include an internet connection, a PDA to be owned by every student and a course book that is being developed as a part of this project. In the span of eight months, the relevant objectives will be shaped into a developed application, of optimum cost and scope.
Based upon the current state of students studying locally, there is a need to develop a sense of augmented reality technology to make it achievable for the educational sector to build foundations strong enough to conduct further experiments and develop more such projects. Relevant information achieved in the maximum possible time meeting objectives will cater a much larger audience.
Project Implementation Method- Literature review: The data is being gathered from Tafseer e Quran, hadith(sahih al muslim and bukhari),and research papers.
- Hardware and software: An aerial view of the models will be depicted for certain chapters. Others certain chapters will include 3d modeling. This will required Unity,VUforia,maya blender to be used.
Implementation
- Image acquisition: The image will be retrieved from a hardware based source (in this case a book).before that, QR code will be scanned to open that specific chapter for the book. After the image is retrieved, it will be sent for processing to give out results.
1.1. Processing of image as 3D modeling: Image captured in the image acquisition stage will be processed into a 3D model and the model will be viewable, 360 angle. The tool used for 3D modeling is maya and blender also for the aerial view of certain models VUforia will be used which will give out the relevant outputs.
1.2. Platform supported: The application will support android applications as it is being created for android operating system only.
1.3. VuForia, Blender, Autodesk Maya and 3D warehouse will be used for the development of modules. These modules would require assets to be purchased in order to be integrated and created into an apk file.
3. Result
The application will show the aerial view and 3D structure/architecture of the chapter(s).
Benefits of the ProjectThe main ideology behind the project is to promote the effective learning as well as teaching methods for students at their primary level of educaton. Islam is a religion that is followed in Pakistan and yet the concepts need to be built strongly in students.
The benefits are as follows:
1. Improved learning in the educational sector that will allow further development in other areas of education using technology such as science, social sciences, etc.
2. STEM education is the basis of any such project and needs to be incorporated into the educational sector now.
3. The technological gap between students and the professional world as well as the professional world nationally and internationally will be filled.
4. Progressive stages can be established by moving from students at primary level to students at secondary level and further focusing upon a larger area.
5. The most important and the largest benefit will be catered when the overall nation will stand out internationally promoting how important is such a technology to understand religion and the concepts much more clearly.
