Henna Artist
Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryWe are working on an innovative machine based on the principle of 3D printer that will Apply Henna (Mehndi) on the user’s hands, after selecting design from menu.
The henna was applied manually before as you know. When we thought to find a solution, 3D printers clicked somewhere in our minds that create objects according to our requirements. We got an idea from there that this could be helpful to apply henna automatically and now we are working on it. The user will choose the design from the list given by printer and then he will have nothing to do except putting her hand on the platform of machine to henna with that particular design.
To apply henna designs on hands manually takes too much time and labour.
It requires skilful labour in a sufficient count.
The skilful labour is not possible to be available 24 hours.
Another factor is, they can retain and apply a limited number of designs. They cannot memorize and apply all designs at anytime.
It takes too much time to learn a new design by any artist.
Project ObjectivesOur primary concern is to provide a machine which can draw henna designs automatically with less consumption of time.
To provide a variety of design which is not possible for a single man to memorize so many designs at the same time.
To provide such machine which is available 24/7 as we can’t find a skilled labour every time.
To Provide a Profitable machine
To Provide a Profitale Buisness, if this machine is launched in market anyone can buy it and use it to earn profit (i.e Beauticians in beauty parlor can use it for aplying henna on customer's hands)
Project Implementation MethodThis is a laconic introduction of existing system from where we took the idea to make a Henna Artist. Any 3D printer is a combination of three technologies; software, mechanical and electrical. It works along three axes and usually it is controlled by Arduino. The designs we upload on Arduino will be applied by printer. Filament contains the material which is provided to extruder through a material conveyor and extruder, after melting the material, permits it to pass through nozzle and nozzle moves along Z axis by a drive given by stepper motor. The bed moves along X and Y axes and this drive is also given by a stepper motor. This is the working of a 3D printer which we observe in general.
So our proposed methodolgy to make Henna Artist will be likely 3D Printer's methodolgy.
Benefits of the Project Henna ArtistFully Automated No Skilled Labor Needed
-Accurate than a person ever could, greatly reducing the chance of error.
-Offer multiple latest trendy designs to user.
-24/7 Available
-Able to work on more designs than skilled worker.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable- Conversion of design
- The design is created by graphic software, then it is converted into G-code by ink space.
- Design is uploaded to Arduino
- Arduino gives directions to stepper motor and then motor gives drive to nozzle along X and Y axes.
- Henna Input
- Container that contains henna must be filled before use.
- Draw a henna design
-
- Tools
-
Henna Artist will be constructed via three branches of science i.e. Electrical, Software and Mechanical.
