Helph is a Cross-platform Mobile App with the core feature of outsourcing your daily life tasks whilst opening an opportunity for skilled people to monetize their skills. The daily life tasks mainly fall under the following categories:
1) Educational assistance
2) Event planning and organising
3) Household assistance
4) Shopping assistance
5) Cooking assistance
6) Technical Repairing
Helph targets problems faced by an individual on a daily basis and aims to provide a flexible solution. Helph provides scenarios of Users posting their due tasks and Registered Users (Helphr) with skills in that particular domain can send an Offer and upon mutual agreement, commit to the completion of the task. As a variant to the existing Applications, Helph aims to provide an easy-to-use platform with minimal complexities and a wide range of well monitored quality services.
Project Objectives Objectives:The objectives of the project "Helph" are as follows:
- Providing a Mobile platform to get assistance regarding daily life problems
- Providing an opportunity to utilize skills and get paid for it
- To reduce the gap of Demand and Supply of assistance services
- To accommodate both, the Service providers and Consumers on the same platform
- To develop A Cross-Platform Application(using React-Native) capable of targeting Android and iOS platforms
The Project Implementation method is based on a Hybrid model based on Waterfall model and Rapid App development model. The Model consists of the following Development Phases:
1) Research: This phase consists of the basic research and analysis of the Project. Some of the things researched are:
- Analysis of the Project Domain
- Scope
- Market Analysis
- Feedback etc
2) Wireframing + Technical Feasibility Assessment: A basic flow of the App is made and refined by Current trends of designing and Prototyping(UI/UX) which is then transformed into a Wireframe and then a Mockup. The differences of Material design(Android) and Flat Design(iOS) are considered and a middleware is selected.
Alongside the Wireframe a Technical Feasibility Assessment is done iteratively on each module of the wireframe, in the TFA, all Technical aspects necessary to make that module are assessed for feasibility.
3) Prototyping + Design:
The Technical Prototypes and Design(Data Schema and App Design) take place simultaneously in an iterative manner.
4) Implementation:
All Technical Prototypes and Design elements are combined and the actual Deliverable is developed iteratively.
5) Integration:
All Implemented Modules are integrated.
6) Testing:
The Product is Tested using standard Testing techniques including Automated tools for testing.
7) Deployment and Maintenance:
The Product is deployed on the actual Environments and Maintained.

- Built using React-Native, Node.js and mongoDB
- Uses Google Cloud Services and open-sourced npm packages(libraries)
- Using secure and encrypted methods to ensure user data privacy
