improve the treatment of patients and to reduce the difficulties faces by patients and doctors.
The medical health sectors need more devices that can help to instant access to the patient’s
health and can be monitor 24/7. It can be used at various places like hospitals, homes, etc.
To carry off precise and accurate vital sign monitoring of humans by using advanced beam
steering technique, mm-wave radar, IR camera. LCD along with radar and IR camera used for real-time display, where all the data of the patient display and input can be given for necessary medication, name, and other data of the patient.Alert generation an alarming stage for caretakers.Forecasting of patient health for further diagnostic and treatment purposes.
First, we do alignment of the mm-wave and IR thermal camera using servomotor for accurate position of a patient lying on the bed after this we will do the acquisition of accurate heartrate and breath rate using Mimo beam steering so that we can monitor the human body temperature accurately by using IR thermal Camera. We can monitor if the patient is present on the bed or not by using mm-wave radar and thermal camera if the person is not on the bed for a certain time limit then an alert will generate using a threshold for a vital sign and human presence then the result will be displayed on graphics LED the results will be generated through IoT and we will also do AI for prediction of human health.
Benefits of the ProjectA health monitoring system using IOT describes the collection and interoperation of Patient data collected from
the sensors from the hospitals through IOT Technology. The collected sensor data will support the doctor in
the emergency situation for the betterment and improvement of Patient health. The hardware platform to
implement the project consists of a sensor and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B equipped in a way to communicate
with a doctor through the Internet. This idea will help doctors to know about the state of patient health and
monitor anywhere in the world. It will provide 24/7 monitoring to those patients who are admitted to hospitals
also provide patient’s presence and absence. The data collected through the IoT will help the patient to
recover easily and also enhanced medical care can be given to the patients at a low cost.
Our goal is to carry off the application of precise vital sign monitoring of human vital signs. For this
purpose, firstly we want to achieve precise vital sign monitoring by working on radar firmware,
using advanced techniques of beam steering, beamforming, MIMO. Along with mm-wave radar, an IR
thermal camera also uses to detect the temperature of the patient. The alignment of radar and thermal IR
camera is to be done with the help of a servo motor for accurate position of the patient. All data of the patient to
be displayed on graphics LCD, inputs to be put in that of patient personal data and medication.
Transmission of these parameters to be transmitted over IOT to the remote terminal for caretakers. Alerts
to be generated on the alarming situation so that caretakers intervene and prevent the patient from further harm.
Further forecasting of patient's health using ML-based patient history to be achieved.
