This proposed system is basically indoor video-based surveillance and locating system which will detect and recognize, trace unknown/guest and generate an alert to the security personal. If that person moves to restricted area and will record those person activities and will be useful for future security issues. So, a lot of data to be processed and we have to use high performance algorithms and hardware for this purpose. It will be a general-purpose product, modified according to the user requirements.

Project Objectives

This project is a general-purpose product. It can be modified for different type of organizations such as hospitals, universities, companies, etc. Our target area is university. Main feature is detecting and locating an outsider.

Project Implementation Method

Model: Agile, Framework: Extreme Programming.

This agile methodology will be used because it has iterative process and changing in any phase is easy to do. First, will gather requirements second; will work on designing
(interface) then development (functionalities). Two cameras for project demonstration but there will be capacity of five cameras for testing and extending our project from
different perspective.

Benefits of the Project

Proposing automatic surveillance system to reduce operator’s burden. Proposed system detects recognize and identify students and outsiders. It Locate outsider location and generate and send alert notification to the security portion when they will cross the restricted area in organization.
