Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryThe idea of our project is to provide the home security by Video doorbell. This doorbell will provide security at your home front door. As this doorbell will detect motion at your home front door and alarm you through an android device. Android device is connected with this doorbell and from android device you can control this doorbell security system. When the motion is detected it will send notification on your android device and by opening that notification you can see the exact outside view of your home front door even you are not at home. When the person ring the bell then device will call on your android mobile and also show the video feed of your home front door. When you accept the call then you can talk with that person who ring the bell. This device will use Wi-Fi connection to access the internet and do communication with that. Motion detection feature can be on and off through android device, if the motion detection feature is off then this doorbell only send notification to your android mobile when someone ring the bell, then this is not a home security doorbell.
Project ObjectivesObjective of this project is to provide the home security to users, as this is a big problem when you are not at home or going for long tour or in any other case. This device will notify you on any motion detection.
When you are not at home, people come and not get any response from you on knocking. In this case this device can help a lot, when person ring the bell then you can easily talk with that person and tell that person your back to home time or you can pass any message.
We will later add the feature of door opening through android device. As sometime you are not at home and your family member comes and on confirm that the person is your family member you can open the door from your android device.
Project Implementation MethodImplementation of this project is based on both hardware and software. In first we setup the motion detection hardware and develop android mobile application to control and receive data from hardware. When both are ready we implement them to get the final result of motion detection. After that we work on the communication system between you and the person who ring the bell and implement that system with the motion detection system together in our doorbell device that give us the final result. All the phases will complete according to the financial resources available to us.

This project will helps the people to stay connected with their home even when they are not at home by controlling our device with their android mobile and our device will become the source of communication between you and the person who ring the bell.
