Grasshopper Prevention System
Recently we faced grasshopper attack in Pakistan and India, they have destroyed all crop fields. So we had found a solution to it. And there will be no problem to go with it because it is in a budget plus easy way of getting rid with these insects it will not only beneficial for getting rid of grasshoppers but will also get alert with another kind of attack. Basically what we can do is we have to set a sensor in case if grasshopper attacks our fields it will immediately detect their presence and will take an immediate action to kill them by using spray hydrant which was fitted and planned to kill grasshopper or any other kind of insect attack so in this way we can save our crop fields. That hydrant which we are using to kill the grasshopper can be used and control by an Application so we can adjust the power and limit of that hydrant according to its need. Hydrants also utilize as a water supply in case grasshopper will not find. Besides all of this, there will be a map of setting these hydrants on the cropland as it is preplanned because we don’t want to take risk of getting our fields destroyed so each hydrant will be installed and fitted at the distance of 3 feet. We will cover one hydrant from all four sides so it will protect our fields too from getting destroy and will give a heart attack to those grasshoppers too. Throughout this system the hydrants will be controlled by mobile application The detection of grasshopper which is based on surveillance cameras the informs the grasshopper coming movement and then automatically spray will be processed.

In this project the method of project implementation is first, we need to train our data or object which is grasshopper or locust we can take a lot of pictures of it from different angles at least we need a 1000 images of both object to train a good dataset. In training for our custom objects phase there are 3steps:
1. Dataset.
2. Annotation.
3. Training.
So the first step is dataset set which is an important part of detection because if you have a massive dataset for training then your detection must be really good. So, the step is an annotation of the dataset, in this process we use a platform to annotate our object and the platform is “LABELLING” in labelling we can “reactbox” our object one by one, and by using roboflow or GOOGLE COLAB services it takes time in training. After this we can use our trained dataset on a raspberry pi with the help of OpenCV basically is (Open-Source Computer Vision Library) is an open-source computer vision and machine learning library. So, we can use the training file of our custom object in raspberry pi to detect the object. The system consists of water spray, grasshopper detection by image and application. we can detect our object by the image in which they can detect than start the pasteurized motor and cover that area. Python OpenCV, Numpy, YOLOV4, darknet library will use for detection and roboflow, Google Collaboratory used for training of Dataset and the hydrants set to place 3ft far all side 360degree place map will create as per land space. In Application, We can make a schedule of watering in land space hydrants will provide water. Make a hydrant map in which they cover the whole field of crops.
1) Detect the grasshopper then start the motor to spray a Pasteur on grasshopper through the hydrant.
2) Make an application to watering or scheduling in normal days.
The application of this project is to give users a device or you can say a helper who can make work easier to the user than it was.
The significance of this project is really important because it shows how many millions of crops you can save by grasshopper attack also you can watering your crops just taping on the application button.

This Grasshopper Attack Prevention system is useful for maintaining and growing strong and lush green agriculture, it provides to maintain food quality and ensure that very low loss ratio. The system is also helpful as another hand that easily create time scheduler for watering to agriculture land space.
This project shows the importance and application of the project.
