Project Summary

First person view (FPV), also known as remote person view (RPV). It is unmanned aircraft system. The main target is to show the scenario captured by drone to user, other applications are added such as drone may carry a payload of one kilogram. Means it is used for package delivery or parcel. The quality of components used in the project has good quality due to its heavy applications.Each drone framework is somewhat extraordinary, yet there are some fundamental things most are common. Notwithstanding the airplane, the most part incorporate a lithium polymer battery for control, a camera mounted on a balanced out gimbals, and a radio correspondence framework. Drones have worked around some trend setting innovation that makes them less demanding to fly. This includes GPS, following human’s position, sensors to help maintain a strategic distance from undesirable crashes, and latest flight modes that can self-align upon detection of disturbance.
Drone technology is constantly evolving as new innovation and big investment are bringing more advanced drones to the market every few months. Most drones will have very similar systems incorporated. Unmanned aerial vehicle technology covers everything from the aerodynamics of the drone, materials in the manufacture of the physical to the circuit boards, chipset and software, which are the brains of the drone. Drones are equipped with different state of the art technology such as infrared cameras and GPS. Drones are controlled by remote ground control systems (GSC) and also referred to as a ground cockpit.
An unmanned aerial vehicle system has two parts, the drone itself and the control system.  The nose of the unmanned aerial vehicle is where all the sensors and navigational systems are present. The rest of the body is full of drone technology systems since there is no space required to accommodate humans. The engineering materials used to build the drone are highly complex composites designed to absorb vibration, which decrease the sound produced. These materials are very light weight.

Project Objectives

1) It shows the first view to user.

2) Use of latest technologies.
3) Develop, improve, and explore transmission and substation maintenance and operations by developing or improving one or more areas of interest with using  a drone.
4) FPV camera is mounted onto a drone to send real time video down to the ground using a video transmitter.
5) The FPV camera allows you to see where the drone is flying and what it is seeing as if it had its own eyes.
6) Investigate the use of FPVs (Drones) for Transmission Line Inspection and maintenance
7) Improves repair time and eliminates the need for helicopter survey.

8) Drone may carry any kind of product like medicine and parcels.

Project Implementation Method

The basic idea behind the project was to carry out two main targets, i-e to show the first view to user and second to carry a payload. The implementation phase i-e the assembly phase included mounting the electronic components onto the quad frame. The first step is to make a battery connector using connecters and connected it onto the PDB (Power Distribution Board). The four speed controllers will be connected onto the PDB which mounted onto the base plate of the quad along with brushless motors onto each of the four motor arms of the quad copter. First design phase included designing the body i-e the frame of Quadcopter which will be done using AutoCAD. The frame is made of carbon fiber which makes it strong and would not break easily when crash occur.
Second part was selecting the electronics components to get the required flight time. The most important component of quadcopter is flight controller. We will use latest one which is the Pixhawk.

7) The foremost benefit of playing drone FPV is the chance to get to fly. Most of the pilots are simply attracted to the game because it provides a great experience of flying drones.
8) Drones are quite easy when you want to fly for surveillance purpose.
9) Some of its applications are quite helpful in disaster management activities.
10) In war time, there is no risk of losing the Pilot.
11) It can go to place, where it is difficult for a human being to reach.
12) Drones are helping farmers address several of the developing challenges in the industry.
13) Better controller and flight speed.
