Project Summary

Pakistan unemployment ratio had been increased due to COVID-19 pandemic and many skilled
people do not have a platform through which they can earn and make money even if there is need
for such skills among industries but they do not have any source which help them in earning money.
30% of married people lost their permanent jobs due to the pandemic. We have designed an
application that will help them in finding their desired jobs and work according to their skills where
needed, they can do bidding on the posts where their skills needed and give their price of work and
interested customers can have chat box in another module. This application will work efficiently for
those who want to get their work done without wasting time in search for skilled workers, we can
label them as ‘Customers’. We have designed a third module where those who want to get their work
done in cheap rates can have discount coupons depends on the price of doing such work. Our
application will also have a feature of online payment method that will be secured from end to end.
Hence, this application will provide needy people with the service (Customer) and skilled people
with the work (Worker) on one single platform.

The Application is for workers and customers.
Customers: will post for a service they want to get.
Workers: will provide specific service to a customer.

The low employment rate has always been an issue in Pakistan and to tackle this problem technically
we are providing a solution. As we are aware that people are so much dependent on their mobile
phones. Therefore, by taking advantage of this we are fulfilling the needs of people by creating an
application that can solve the issue of unemployment in the market. Through this application,
workers can easily provide services they excel in by communicating with customers with ease. The
customers can also enrol in the Application and post for the service the want to be provided with.
By only using the phone and not going out in search for vendors, this will save the customer’s time
as well.

Project Objectives

The Objectives we are aiming for are :
To create a hub for customers and workers to interact efficiently.
To minimize the time for the customer : rather than going out and finding a vendor for a specific
work the customer will save a lot of time by just posting for a service he/she needs. To some extend
it will help in increasing the Employment Rate.

Benefits of the Project

Workers:
On daily basis, we see freshly graduates searching for jobs and not finding them most of them end
up doing different work and loose the desire to work in their respective fields. We have seen most
of the skill full workers who have no platform to get work from.
Customers:
People usually stay at home and don’t roam around much due to the COVID-19 and so in order to
fulfil their needs (Services which they can post) without placing theirs and others lives at risk they
can get their work/service done.
Both of these are real life examples. Therefore, this is where we got our Motivation and decided
to create an Application which can help such people.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

This application will allow access to authorized customers and service provider. The customers can look onto and request for desired services whereas service provider will get access to related services they will be providing. Following are the major functions that application will be perform:

• Application shall be able to authenticate users by login details they will provide.
• Application shall be able to maintain user profiles (customer/fixer).
• Application shall be able to add, delete, and update user profiles.
• Application shall be able to provide chat bot for customer support.
• Application shall be able to provide chat for conversation between customer and fixer regarding services.
• Application shall be able to provide bidding function to required service post.
• Application shall be able to facilitate with payment methods.
