Folder Live is an application which provides file hosting service and synchronization service that allow users to store files and personal data, share files, and sync files across devices within the local network. Users can upload their files and documents directly on Folder Live. It has a website that allows users to see and upload their files from any Internet-connected computer within a local area network and without the need to download an app. The user will have a limited storage that can be used, in which user can able to upload/store their data on the server. Folder Live is a safe place for all your files, it puts your data within your reach safe and without privacy and other risks. Files in Folder Live – like your videos, photos, and documents – are backed up safely so you can’t lose them.

Project Implementation Method

We have developed a web application for fyp using ASP.Net that will allow the user to upload, download, share and manage file and folders within their allotted storage limit. The designing of this application is done keeping in mind the design and idea of Windows GUI.
 

Benefits of the Project

The project significance could be determined from the kind of services that it has been providing to its user. A client-server based application with an in-house server which provides data storage services with a much secure environment and less cost and without much terms, conditions and privacy policies
