In this new era of technological advancements in Aviation world, the whole world is looking forward to make more efficient and stable MAV’s(Micro Air vehicle). MAV’s are classified as small size, light weight having low moments of inertia .Low Reynold airfoil is used to produce high lift low drag and high endurance capabilities and due to less inertia MAV’s are unstable. In this project the wind tunnel testing of the MAV will be done in different propeller configuration to compare its stability result with the analytical results .The main aim is to stabilize the MAV which can be catered by selecting the suitable geometry for which the MAV has a desired stability and optimal aerodynamic performance.
Project objectives include:
This project will lead to the fabrication of MAV which is stable and having endurance of 30 min. The wind tunnel testing of MAV will be done on different configurations and Reynold number. The results of the above mentioned methods will be compared with the CFD analysis of MAV. The propeller thrust will be calculated with the blade element theory and flight data obtained from the MAV and then the conclusion of the results will be done.

1. Study of MAV static variables and their causes on the stability of the MAV.
2. Fabrication of the MAV.
3. Analytical analysis of Propeller thrust through Blade element theory.
4. Wind tunnel testing of MAV.
5. Flight testing of MAV and acquiring the flight data.
6. Comparison of the Results.
