This project maps to an experiment with virtual reality (VR) simulator in a bid to bolster the basic First aid skills of people, long before they step inside an actual emergency situation. A virtually realistic environment will be designed to train people so they can become a lifesaver for society. 

This simulator provides four different training modules as given below.

  1. Training to handle victims of road accidents.
  2.  Training to handle and escape in case of house fire.
  3.  Training to escape and protection in case of earthquake.
  4.  Training to perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)  for victim of cardiac arrest.
Project Objectives

Major objectives of this project are as follows.

Project Implementation Method

This project is based on Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The main goal of using RAD model is to produce the initial working form of application as soon as possible and then several iterations can be perform later on as per user guide and time flexibility. Product becomes more refined after every iteration. Each iteration makes the product near to completion.

Development Tool

Unity 3d Unity 3d is real time cross platform for game development first developed by Unity technologies. It is used for development of 2D,3D,VR and AR games and simulations.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The end product will be a high graphics desktop based training simulator designed in Unity 3D and  integrated with Oculus Rift CV1 and Oculus touch sensors to train user in a virtually realistic environment.
