•OUR RESEARCH WILL FOCUS ON STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS OF VAROUS TYPES OF IMPLANTS THAT MAY LEAD TO FUTURE DESIGN CHANGES IN IMPLANTS
The main objective of our project are followings.
TO IDENTIFY BONES IN WHICH IMPLANTS ARE USED
•IDENTIFY TYPES OF COMMONLY USED IMPLANTS
•TAKE THEIR CT SCANS AND MAKE ITS 3D MODELS
after that we applying fem analysis on that models and find out how much stress strain are required for deformation of our implants.
FOR IMPLANTATION PURPOSE , FIRST SURGEON DO A CT SCAN OF PATIENT AND INSTALLS AN IMPLANT BASED ON REQUIREMENTS OF PATIENT
•WE PLAN TO CONVERT CT SCAN FILE INTO CAD MODEL FOR ITS STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS
•THEN WE PLAN TO PERFORM FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ON ITS CAD MODEL
•WE EXPECT TO WORK ON ANKLE KNEE AND HIP BONES AND THEIR IMPLANTS
•WE SHALL MAKE AN EFFORT TO FIND STRESS, STRAIN AND DEFORMATION DISTRIBUTIONS OVER THE BONES AS WELL AS IMPPLANTS
•FINALLY WE SHALL COMPILE THE RESULTS AND COMPARE IT WITH PAST LITERATURE FINDINGS
•THEN WE SHALL WRITE OUR FINAL REPPORT
The benefits of this project is that. Before surgery orthopaedic surgeon told their patients exactly at which load or force can be danger for you for required for breaking your implant like hip ankle and knee etc.
Benefits of this project is also that those people who were live in disablelife because of some accidents, they can use artificial bones like implant, which bring them into their normal routine.
First of all we made an implants cad model by using CT scan files, because it give us exact dimensions of patient bone, so after making that WE USED ABAQAS FOR SIMULATION:-

•SECOND ASSIGN THE MATERIAL BY APPLYING MATERIAL PROPERTY ON BOTH COMPONENTS.

•FIFTH CREATE THE BOUNDARY CONDITION
•SIXTH APPLYING THE FORCES
•SEVENTH AFTER COMPLETING THESE STEPS CREATE A JOB
•EIGHT SUBMTTED THE JOB
