Project Objectives

To evaluate the dispatchability and firmness for a hybrid CSP Wind system plant.
 To compare the PV-Wind & CSP-Wind.
 To assess the advantages and technical constraints.
 

Project Implementation Method

First of all, the wind (jet Stream) strike the blade of wind turbine and the kinetic energy (speed) of wind is converted into the mechanical energy which is used to drive turbine and turbine is coupled to the electric generator which generates the electricity.
Blades lift and rotates when wind is blown over them causing the rotor to spin. Blades and hub together form the rotor. Turns the low speed shaft at about 30 to 60 rpm. Gear box connects the low speed shaft to the high-speed shaft and increases the rotational speeds from about 30 60 rpm to about 1000 to 1800 rpm this is the rotational speed required by most generators to produce electricity. The gear box is a costly and heavy part of the wind turbines. The direct drive generators that operates at lower rotational speeds and don’t need gear boxes. High speed shaft drives the generators.
 

Benefits of the Project

Our project is very benefits to our country because IPP Company use thermal power plants which use much fuel which is much costly but our project is less costly. Second we use concentrated  solar panel (CSP) as compared to PV which is much benefits.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our first task is to make wind model. Then we make CSP model and then combine both of them. At the end we check feasibility of both which is best results and efficiency.
