Faculty Alumni and Student Connector
Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryThe Faculty Alumni and Students Connector strives to cultivate a community of National Textile University – Department of Computer Science (NTU-DCS) students and alumni with a shared commitment to a legacy of spirit, pride, and tradition. Our network provides NTU-DCS with tools to gain leadership experience and forge a meaningful community.
The Faculty Alumni and Students Connector aims to establish a connection between the students and the alumni by providing a platform. This will foster a connection to NTU-DCS’s alumni, as well as promote the interests of both previous and future students of NTU-DCS. The Faculty Alumni and Students Connector provides students with meaningful experiences, valuable connections, and effective tools to ensure a successful future. Successful alumni of NTU-DCS have the potential to lead the freshers in stepping into the market by sharing their experience and guiding them. Furthermore, alumni may find their mates and reach them via this network. Faculty Alumni and Students Connector is all about the growth of NTU-DCS.
As NTU-DCS students, we strive to live out and uphold the following values individually and as a collective, Self-discovery, Growth, Commitment, Respect, Empowerment, Legacy, and Inclusivity.

- To disseminate information among students in the department
Evolutionary model is a combination of Iterative and Incremental model of software development life cycle. Delivering your system in a big bang release, delivering it in incremental process over time is the action done in this model. Some initial requirements and architecture envisioning need to be done.
It is better for software products that have their feature sets redefined during development because of user feedback and other factors. The Evolutionary development model divides the development cycle into smaller, incremental waterfall models in which users can get access to the product at the end of each cycle.
Feedback is provided by the users on the product for the planning stage of the next cycle and the development team responds, often by changing the product, plan, or process. Therefore, the software product evolves with time.
All the models have the disadvantage that the duration of time from start of the project to the delivery time of a solution is very high. Evolutionary model solves this problem in a different approach.

- It will establish the connection between current student, alumni, and the teachers.
- It will connect the current students with industry trends through alumni.
- It will provide the jobs and internship opportunities to the students.
- It will disseminate information among students in the department.
At the completion of the project, we will deliver a Mobile based Andriod Application for users, and Web Applcation for admin control.
