In Pakistan, most of the 70cc bike Engines have carburetted fuel injection system which cause the following problems.

  1. Fuel Economy
  2. Incomplete combustion

To overcome these problems it has been considered that to use Electronic Fuel Injection system.The idea of replacing old carburated system in bikes with efi system in order to gain extra output in terms of fuel economy under same load and other parameters. And saving cost further in terms of service and fuel cost as well saving the environment from exhaust emissions.

Project Objectives

Detail Study of carburetted Fuel injection System & Electronic Fuel Injection system.Design a workbench to implant the EFI system on 70cc bike engine. Analyze the results of Carbureted Fuel Injection System and Electronic.Fuel Injection system which include following parameters
a. Specific Fuel Consumption with respect to revolution per minute(rpm)
b. To check exhaust emission for both system (CFI and EFI)
 

Project Implementation Method
  1. Fabrication of rope break dynamo test bench
  2. Analysis of Carburetted Engine  w.r.t Load.
  3. Implementation of  EFI kit on 70cc engine
  4. Analyze the following parameters 
Fuel Economy
Emission of harmful gasses
Fuel EconomyEmission of harmful gassesBenefits of the Project

Précised quantity of fuel injection and mixing of air & fuel.

Combustion process is significantly much more efficient.

Environment situation and riding condition.

No cold start issue in fuel injected engine,
