Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryOur Project is a B2B (business to business) social platform where we'll establish a connection between fabric shop owners to fabric manufacturers (scaling from big fabric industries to small fabric manufacturers) in which the shop owners will have the independency to post the requirements of their fabric orders and the fabric manufacturers will provide them with their desired fabrics not only that we will also link the big fabric industries brands here as well so that the shop owners doesn't only get to post order but can see orders from the competitive brands as well. An example is the best way to explain our platform now consider a shop owner liked a fabric design from a branded industry but didn't like the fabric or color of it what can he do about it he can't just contact them and tell them his personal requirements because branded industries don't take custom orders so here is our platform comes in where user can post his particular design with his custom color or fabric or anything else and can post it so that the fabric manufacturers can take that order and can provide him what he desired as a seller. Here both our users will have their own individual dashboards where they can see their respected orders, or their order progress and a single platform will be introduced where the manufacturers will see the orders and can bid them, and the shop owners can see the manufacturer’s designs which was made by them out of their own creativity and can place orders for them as well from big named fabric industries to small cottage industries. Not only that the platform will have a time schedule system in it as well that’ll remind both the users about their order’s delivery date for manufacturers and the payment that’s needed to be paid by the shop owner so that both parties can remember their part and work efficiently.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of our project is to create a social B2B fabric platform where we can link all the shop keepers to all the fabric manufacturers around the city a recent survey was made by us to determine if our project is necessary or not we asked various fabric manufacturers and shop owners some questions like where do they give their orders or who buys from their factory, the answer we got from them tells us that most of the shop owners have only one or two industries linked with them from where they place their orders and get their fabric so when we talked about our project with them their rection towards it was very positive like who wouldn't like to have a variety of choices where they can go with nothing but the best but both parties were mostly concerned with nothing but fraudulence so we assured them that we’ll integrate an anti-fraudulent system in our platform by using various tools and technologies. Because fraudulence is a very common factor not just in Pakistan but all around the world and to overcome this we're integrating Blockchain technology where we will generate a contract of approval and a contract of payment since the orders will be in bulk so we will put the payment transaction receipt in it as well not only that but the users profiles will be stored in it as well so that they can’t backout from their agreement because blockchain is the most efficient technology when it comes to maintaining individual information or to keep track of something.
Project Implementation MethodThe implementation of the project consists of 2 phases, the frontend, and the backend.
In the front-end phase different pages of the website are built such as the login and signup page, the profile page, the bidding page etc. Everything that a user can see from fonts and colors to dropdown menus and sliders, are built and designed in this phase using the combination of ReactJS and tailwindCSS.
In the back- end phase of the website a server, an application, and a database will be set up. To make the server, application and a database communicate with each other and make the website exist and work successfully they are linked using API.

Buyers can study, compare and research a product offered on a marketplace without leaving it. This ability of a B2B marketplace to give key information necessary to make a purchasing decision helps buyers to take a faster buying decision.

An eCatalog is an Online product content management solution with powerful user interface which provides efficient navigation, searching and integration capabilities to organize and publish product information and enable real-time handling of business processes related to buying and selling so that buyers are able to take conclusive procurement decisions with ease.
4. Sales solution expedites selling process and reduces overhead costs
Electronic sales process considerably reduces sales cycle enabling lower processing costs and helps minimizing document errors often associated with paper based systems.
5. eProcurement solution makes buying easier
An eProcurement system is an integral part of a B2B marketplace. Transaction costs get reduced due to streamlined transaction process. It saves time and stops rogue spending by employees.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur product will be a web-based application which will be easily accessible for everyone. For the front of our application, we will be using several technologies like React.js, Next.js, tailwind CSS, and CSS3. For the back end of our application, we will be using node.js, express.js. Mongo-db will be used as our primary database as well as we will also be implementing blockchain technology to make it safe and secure.
