The energy recommendation is a web module that will analyze the energy consumption rate of any business sector, visualize the results, recommend the business on how to lower their energy costs and save energy. The module will take real time energy data that is consumed by the business, perform data analysis and apply data mining techniques to analyze the consumption and wastage patterns. The results of our
analysis and mining will be presented visually in graphical format to the user and will also recommend solution to higher energy consumption costs and wastage of energy problem.
Project Objective:
In today’s time there is a lot of energy consumption in almost every sector no matter how large or small and all these sectors pay a cost for this consumption. This consumption of energy comes with a lot of energy being wasted and hence increases the billing amount and problems for the others. Therefore, after observing the above scenarios we planned to develop a web module which will work like an analyzer and recommendation module for businesses to help them lower their energy costs by providing them visualized energy consumption patterns in insightful ways realizing the potential sources of energy consumption, for an already up and running portal for INSTRUX which is an intelligent cloud-based energy monitoring solution.
Project Implementation Method:
- Energy Analysis: This module will provide data analytics. It will analyze data and perform preprocessing to clean that data and then visualize.
- Statistical Analysis: The module with the help of cleaned data will perform statistical analysis on different parameters like voltage, current, real power, power factor etc. and will display the outcome of analysis in the form of charts or graphs.
- Billing Forecasting: The module will forecast billing information for the businesses and will recommend them on efficient energy usage.
- Analyze Energy Trends and Minimize Losses: It enables the user to analyze energy trends and minimize energy losses and power failures.
- Report Generation: It will generate reports which will predict that how can user reduce the wastage of energy as the report will consist of insights which will help in making better decisions about energy consumptions.

- No energy wastage as users will be given recommendations on how to save their money and to efficiently consume their energy.
- The module will analyze a business energy consumption and visualize the results and display it to the user.
- This module will be very useful for the user and business as the user will be able to manage their expenditure and resources.
- This module will work any time with the connection of internet.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable:
- First we will gather all the relevant information.
- Then data pre-processing and analysis and the designing of the module will be done.
- Then, with the designed model we will start building the source code and will apply different data mining techniques and algorithm + Frontend, back-end and their integration.
- After that we will test the module/model on test data and will improve the accuracy of model.
- Finally, finalize our Module.
