Notice board is the most primary apparatus which is being used in any institution,public places like airports,railway station,banks etc.Sticking various notes day to day is a difficult process and also require man power.

The main aim of this project is to develop a wireless notice board that display message being sent from user's mobile.There are many wireless technologies like bluetooth,RF communication,IOT,zigbee etc but we use GSM technology which allows a long range,reliable and secure communication.When a user send a message,it is received by a SIM inserted in GSM modem.The message received by GSM is sent to micro-controller that displays on electronic notice board.The Notice board is an LED display which is being interfaced with controller and is powered by a regulated AC power supply.

Project Objectives

•To design a wireless electronic notice board using GSM technology in order to display  the data on LED module,which is sent from the mobile phone.

•To ensure transmission and reception of data via sms,in order to eliminate the need of being physically present to stick the paper notices on the notice board.

•To provide reliable and user  friendly system.

Project Implementation Method

•The GSM  modem receives SMS from mobile phone and then  AT commands are serially transferred to the modem.

•The microcontroller will read the message and verify the extension.

•If extension is correct then is displayed message on LED.

Benefits of the Project

•No need of any complex wires to display the message on LED.

•Consume less power and easy to operate.

•Require less man power and also relieved by cost of printing and photocopying thereby preserving resources like paper,toner ink etc
