                             Echemo lab is a virtual chemistry lab(a web application), designed as a supplement to physical chemistry labs primarily for the students of 9th class to perform chemistry lab activities virtually over a web browser having an internet connection. Echemo lab will be accessed via a website where the students will be provided with a convenient user interface, The user will select a particular experiment, then the user can read theoretical concepts about that particular practical, the user can also see video tutorial of how to perform a practical, the user can use simulatory environment  where user will use pre designed animations and simulations to have hands on over that practical and finally the user can submit the feedback related to that practical.

Project Objectives

• To develop a Virtual chemistry lab
• To provide an online supplement to physical chemistry labs
• To minimize the theory-practical gap of 9th class students who do not have facility of physical labs
• To apply theoretical problem solving concepts in real life.
• To Serve the student community by providing them free access to the contents

Project Implementation Method

1. We will be using Unity 3D as a tool to design simulations for the practicals.
2. AJAX will be used because we don’t want to reload the whole web page, we will provide the users with multiple tabs for a single practical and each time a tab will reload rather than the whole page
3. HTML, CSS and JavaScriptwill be used as a tool for designing and styling of the EChemo Lab Website.
4. We will be using MVC Architecture over the Web
5. We will perform variety of tests, over the developed product
6. We will upload the website and Ensure its maintainance 

Benefits of the Project

1. The main outstanding part of the Echemo lab is that it will be mapped with the Sindh Board Syllabus of 9th class chemistry and there is no other platform like that currently.
2. It will serve the student community of Sindh Board Suffering to get quality education
3. Its quite affordable every one in the present era has smart devices, you just need to have smart device and thats all.
4. The Project will be a great source to create Tech awareness in the Rural area people.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Echemo Lab will be a web based Interface accessed through a browser having WebGL support,Client will request a https server a the request will be granted, and the content will be displayed on the user screen, It will be suitable for Desktop computers,

We will have to design simulation and Animations which will be designed over Maya and Unity 3d and the design is computationally Intensive which will require a lot of GPU power so we will need a very good graphics card to supplement that.

Morover Echemo Lab will have following Dependencies:

• The PC  will be core2duo or latter with minimum of 2 GB RAM
• The PC will have a valid internet connection and a good web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
• Internet bandwidth will be at least 1MBPs
• Echemo lab is dependent on the use of WEBGL extension in the web browser, without which the user will be unable to access the simulation of the practical, which is the best feature of Echemo Lab.
