EasYum: Food at the first sight

As we know that cooking is a passion and profession of many, most of them are women, that involves knowledge of ingredients and equipment, the use of skills and techniques and the ability to plan and safely organize food preparation, usually within budget and time constraints. As our targeted audiences are the housewives, young girls (or food enthusiast) we want a product that will help them a new dish everyday within the budget and available ingredients. They don't have to worry about what food to make today.

Project Objectives

Our targeted user base has these problems

• What to cook today?
• Let's try something new, but what?
• Good meals are expensive, we can't afford them regularly.
• I am not good at baking, I don't know how to cook italian (never tried cooking anything other than desi food).

We will develope a cross platform application (will be available on android, ios and web) that will resolve the given problems.

We want to develope an application where the user selects the ingredients available at their homes and then we will recommend them the best dishes that they should try. They would have a lot of dishes to choose from.

Furthermore, our app will use machine learning to learn their preferences and the ingredients they usually have available at their homes. and recommend them dishes based on thier interest (just like youtube)

EasYum application will allow users to order grocery. for this we will use Daraz Affiliate Program or HumMart.

Project Implementation Method

For the mobile applications (iOS and adnroid) we are using the Flutter. Flutter is new cross-platform app development SDK developed by Google.

For the Web we will use typical HTML, CSS, javascript and wordpress.

For app hosting Firebase is prefered. because it contains number of services such as ML-Kit that is a machine learning package.

Benefits of the Project

Users will be able to virtuall indefinite dishes from arround the world, most of them would cost not much more then the usuall food we have at homes.

• Search recipes by Ingredients,
• Search recipes by,
  • Name,
  • Cuisine type (desi, Italian, Chinese ...),
  • Meal type (breakfast, supper, dinner …),
  • Category (appetizers, deserts, drinks, soups …),
  • Veg or non-veg.
• Format of the recipe would be, acceptably, like this;
  • Ingredients list with images,
  • Step by Step guide,
  • YouTube videos of the selected recipe.
• Learn the user habits and ingredients they usually have to facilitate them with the best results.
• Reward for following at least 1 recipe daily (levelling up the user by giving in-app stars),
• Let the user order ingredients (redirect to the e-commerce site, using Daraz Affiliate Program).

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

By the end of November we will publish the final poducts at apple's App Store, google's Play Store and on the web.

We would continue to make our application even better, and start different programs on EasYum to earn, so that we can cover the cost of the development and earn profits.
