The system will act as a hub for consumers at home and office. Now, most people do house repair and maintenance services in a typical manner. Consumers at home use this strategy to seek for conventional service provider. If they do manage to find someone to do the maintenance work, they will have to negotiate the price. This negotiation process might be tough for the service provider, as he or she does not receive adequate compensation for the job. The application will assist the consumer in locating a qualified individual to perform their desired task from the convenience of their own home. Additionally, the service provider force will be more at ease when it comes to finding work themselves. Nowadays, technology has grown at such a rapid pace that you cannot function well without the usage of appropriate technology and cannot compete in today's market.
A common guy faced with a little repair work is frequently discouraged from contact these businesses as they do not give service provider for little jobs. Secondly, the lowest level is the most critical. This is the area where lower middle-class individuals congregate their maintenance services. At the lower level, residents must either leave their homes in pursuit of a service provider work, which they frequently discovered on the side of the road. Alternatively, they can just contact someone they know who arranges job or service provider to them. This process is time consuming, difficult, and frequently costly. Therefore, in underdeveloped nations such as Pakistan, low-level service provider would never be available that makes a sufficient profit. With my proposal, I intend to create a marketplace for service providers in which anyone from our allocated area can participate, can advertise any type of repair job and other maintenance tasks regardless of the job's scope. This platform would provide them with adequate vacancies, where they must post their specialties, and the customers could directly go to their profiles and compare multiple options and select the one that suits the most.
Project ObjectivesThe main objectives of our proposed system are described as following:
- To develop web-based application which will help to get services through online platform.
- To provide a full pledge system to our customers for maintenance and repair work.
- To save their time, energy, and abashment.
- To increase the quantity of services by the time.
- To make the technology more usable.
- To provide jobs to many skilled persons.
- To build a promise of satisfaction and trust among our customers and service providers.
We decided to use Laravel Frame for our project platform. As we were developing a website so the first step was to develop front end and for that we use HTML, CSS, JQuery and java script. Layout of front end was designed in web language in first two weeks. In next three weeks we work on the design and connectivity of database. For the creation of database, we use XAMP server as a local host. In next four weeks we work on PHP. Next few weeks we tested our project either it is working on our requirement or not, after testing and little changes we submitted our project to the committee.
Digitalization is penetrating practically every sphere of endeavour. Whether it's meal service or shopping services, we've got you covered. It is highly likely that even the maintenance and repair industry will move online in the next three to five years. There is a strong likelihood that a web-based mobile application like mine will be developed soon. The proposed system itself follows a detailed set of steps and procedures that must be followed prior to beginning any maintenance and repair work. The web-based app will act as a comprehensive database for users and those in the construction industry to store, manage, and maintain their data.
You can visualize the proposed system’s success by visualizing the Food Panda, Careem, Uber application's success rate. How the applications entered the market and immediately altered the way people ate fast food and other services. The web-based application for repair and maintenance services will have the same effect. It will benefit clients in more ways than one to be able to request services from the comfort of their homes. However, it is also an opportunity to employ people who are in desperate need of work.
Specifically, the purposed system will influence three spheres of society.
- The Common Person:
The public will benefit significantly from this application because they will no longer have to go out in search of service provider to do their job. Additionally, the purposed system, procedure allows individuals to save considerable time and money. In summary, the public will no longer have to resort to service provider. They will be approached by service provider.
- The Service Provider Community:
The service provider community will benefit significantly. As workers will not be required to venture out in the cold mornings in search of work. They only need a mobile phone or laptop with an active internet connection to use this web-based application. Through the purposed system, they will be able to access opportunities regardless of their location. They will have a complete record of their previous actions, which will aid them in obtaining additional jobs.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe E-Care services web-based mobile application is a service. The primary goal of this purposed system is to bring the building industry into the digital age. I can think of potential issues that could develop during the process, but the reward and benefits may be greater than we can imagine. The project entails developing a three-section web-based mobile application. The admin section will have complete administrative authority and will have all administrative rights. Other panels will be available for anyone who wish to work or who need to complete a task. The ultimate purpose of the project is to give users with a flexible and simple environment in which to function and complete their tasks.
