Drone-sensor based border surveillance and protecting infrastructure
Our idea describes how we implement modern technology to make smart security system for the safety of human lives. The fast growth/use age of drone technology in the last few years has allowed extending the use of these devices in many programs. There is the massive use of a drone in almost every field, mainly in term of security. We use drone and sensors on boundaries/borders to make secure and effective security system. After that we describe a model how necessary action should be taken by security team to accomplish situational awareness and their infrastructure. With the development of modern technologies, now a day smart security concept in borders/boundaries becomes very important. It includes various features for security, surveillance, and monitoring. We focused on the design and implementation of smart security and real-time monitoring system using UAVs, Sensors, and Cameras. And how the things work after security breech.
First we implement sensors which are connecting to base station through controller. And controller is also connecting with drone. We use three types of sensors there details are given below:
We deploy vibration sensor underground which detects only human’s footstep not animals. We use the algorithms to use the sensors to detect and classification of humans through walking. Humans walking lies between 1 to 2 Hz while the measure of animals walking is around 2.5 to 3 Hz. We use vibration sensor to differentiate between humans and animals to minimize the false alarm.
We also implement motion sensor on walls. PIR motion sensors do not require any device or signal from detecting object unlike sound, ultrasound, or RSSI based localization schemes. Has detection distance of maximum 10m (32.808ft) and detection range of 110° in horizontal and 93° in vertical
Metal sensor we using to get the information that if any intruder crosses our boundary line and enter our property with weapon, so metal sensor help us there and help to measure the security level. When the signals come from sensors (in case of security breech and when sensor is abnormal), drone will fly to that location and enable the camera and track the intruder (if any). And there will be live streaming in control room.
Than we divide our university in four zone. Every zone has its own drone and sensors. So all the sensors sending normal reading to base station. When intruders are detected by the sensors they send massage to controller and controller send massage (zone information and location of sensor) to drone then drone fly to that location with live streaming which is display in base station and security head.
Benefits of our idea are it minimizing the security breeches, protection of human life with in boundary, avoiding terrorist attacks, increasing the efficiency of security and maximizing the field of view. Very less amount of men needs for boundary patrolling.Our idea makes life easier.
