  1. ProblemStatement

The current donating system is manual as all the work is done by NGOs or Social Workers. The bookings are done manually which are submitted to custodians therefore taking a lot of time, as the current system is slow and insufficient.  They face the problem of corruption, not delivered item to needy peoples as it is hard to find who is needy or not. People who want to donate or if they are needy, they have to come physically and looking for places to help or be helped. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an automated online system that users can register as donor or acceptor that track discrete details about of each client, update status each time a request is made, save clients information into database and generate reports. 

  1. Literature Review

The process of donating & accepting system is a frequent and important activity in any society. However, the process becomes very tiresome and time consuming when there is no proper and convenient system. To deal with this problem a donating online booking system will be very necessary. Online booking system can accessed on internet by using devices, which have internet connection at any time. Donating online booking system is a convenient and an efficient way to deal with this problem. The donating online system will enable people access details of donors, acceptors and items online and do the booking online. The system will have all the necessary information about users & items within different cities on one single mobile application, which accessible by anyone who wants to book.

  1. Existing System

Over the years the donation system has been manual where users do booking at the Custodian office by bringing documents in manual files which are kept in the shelves. Whenever a customer wants to donate or avail, he/she fill a form manually and kept in files in the shelves.

NGOs & Social Workers have been using manual file system to record the details of customers who want to register. Some people cannot reach the concerning person as it is not available on their places or it is far away that people can’t reach. This is tiresome and it takes a lot of time to get the right person.

Generally, the current booking process in donation is still being conducted when one shows up physically to these places. The practice is based on the criteria of first come first served and this does not favor those that come from far places.

Online donation system will help customers to avoid corruption or delay in process. To thrive, organizations must increase the quality of services they deliver to clients while lowering their operating costs, maintain privacy, and comply with regulatory compliance standards. The new technological environment lowers operating costs by integrating computer applications using real time information to reduce cycle times and to increase customer satisfaction. Besides, they provide a means for management to respond to the increasing help needs in the more effective and efficient ways. Customer can launch the complaint and complain department will resolve the dispute.

All organizations operations are ever changing. Management and information systems that support them have to deal with that change and adapt to their operations, systems and organizations themselves in order to survive and prosper. Therefore customers needs a donating online booking system to solve this problem
