A Peer-to-Peer document verification system will enable students to access their documents easily when applying for admission in universities. The documents verified from the board will be stored in a database with a unique id for each student. University administration will request the board for the academic record of students using that unique id and will get verified documents from the board for that specific student.

This project will make access to information easier as compared to the currently implemented system. It requires less time and effort from individuals that are concerned with the admission field. From students to college or university’s administration it will benefit every single person.

Project Objectives

The project aims to provide a platform to students that will reduce their workload and effort when applying for admission to the university. This project is also beneficial for the board staff and university administration, it will help them by providing such a system that will save their time and effort when the admission session starts.

It will secure and validate the documents by providing the administration direct access to the board’s database. It will reduce the workload of board members and provide ease in accessing documents both for the student and the university administration and also facilitate us by managing and securing a large amount of student’s data by introducing the database to the website

There are two major role benefits of our Project:

1: Document validation:

University faces many problems in encountering fake documents e.g mark sheets, certificates.

2: Preservation of documents:

Getting documents from the board and keeping them safe to submit them. the university also preserves documents of students for validation purposes.

We have covered our project through various technologies to achieve our project work such as PHP for server side development, javascript, HTML, CSS for client-side development.
