Project Summary

We will make a cross platform app using flutter where different skin specialists from Pakistan will be registered here and the purpose of this consultation system is to make ease for the patient that he can consult the skin specialist to discuss the skin issues, take the suggestion and opinion of the doctors without visiting the hospital. When a patient will search for a skin related diseases, A screen containing information related to the searched disease like its symptoms, medical treatment and home remedies will be provided to patient with an option to consult the skin specialist .Each doctor can set its fees based on its reviews and experience. A list of available (online) skin specialists with their consultation fees, name and reviews will be provided for the required search and the patient can send request to any of the consultant from the list. The patient and the doctor would be able to have video chat consultation with a timer that can be set to a fixed time. The patient can load its wallet with the credits points using debit card and the he can use these credits to pay the fees of the consultant. The doctors receives patient’s request only when he is online. We have three major components in this project, centralized database, API’s and a mobile app.

Project Objectives

• To help the patients to consult with the skin specialists without visiting the hospital.
• To help the doctors to analyze the patient’s skin issue and give him suggestion and opinion.
• Patient can easily afford the fees of the consultant because fees here are less than the original fees of the doctor in his clinic.

Project Implementation Method

We will create a cross platform app using flutter. Doctors and patients will be registered here, and the verification process for both of them will be different. Customer has to sign up which contains his name, email and mobile number, to register him into the system. As the customer will enter his mobile number he will receive a one-time password (OTP) to verify his mobile number to avoid fake profiles. We will verify OTP by Google firebase service in real time.

Similarly, the doctor will also be register by uploading his medical degree, certificates and other information. His activation status will be pending. At the backend we will have a team of specialist, they will verify these documents according to the business process and activate the status of the doctor and after the approval of the activation status the doctor can come online for consultation.

Benefits of the Project

• This project make ease for the patient that he can consult the required health specialist to discuss the health issues, take the suggestion and opinion of the doctors without visiting the hospital.
• Fees of the doctor are very less here as compared to his original fees in his clinic, patient can easily afford it.
• Patient can also consult international doctors around the world.
