In this project, firstly we will measure the breakdown voltage of pure epoxy with diffferent shapes and also diaelectric strength. We will got a breakdown voltage curve. After that we will add some nano filler material like SiO2 ,Al2O3 and TiO2 into the epoxy with 0.1wt%, 0.3
DIELECTRIC STRENGTH MEASUREMENT OF EPOXY WITH DIFFERENT NANO FILLING MATERIALS
In this project, firstly we will measure the breakdown voltage of pure epoxy with diffferent shapes and also diaelectric strength. We will got a breakdown voltage curve.
After that we will add some nano filler material like SiO2 ,Al2O3 and TiO2 into the epoxy with 0.1wt%, 0.3wt%, 0.5wt%, 1wt%, 3wt% and 10wt% . Make different shape of it and again perform test. Now Breakdown voltage will be rised as we can clearly see from breakdown curve and it will vary shape to shape.
To improve the physical, electrical, mechanical, thermal and insulation properties,we add nanoparticles to the base epoxy. The physical and electrical properties of nanomaterials influence the insulation properties of nanofilled epoxy.
Epoxy resins are often used in high voltage ac equipment. In many applications, they are filled with mineral substances for improved thermal and mechanical properties. Within the context of a growing interest in high voltage direct current (HVDC), the aforementioned materials are potential candidates for HVDC equipment.
Technically have the information about the electrodes to be tested. Contain their information about their breakdown strength helpful for the use of tramsiiion lines.
Contains the information of change in property by adding some nano filler material like SiO2 ,Al2O3 and TiO2 into the epoxy with 0.1wt%, 0.3wt%, 0.5wt%, 1wt%, 3wt% and 10wt% . Make different shape of it and again perform test. Now Breakdown voltage will be rised as we can clearly see from breakdown curve and it will vary shape to shape. Callcuate the influence in the physical, electrical, mechanical, thermal and insulation properties adding nanoparticles to the base epoxy.
