Project Area of Specialization Information & Communication TechnologyProject SummaryMultiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology is a wireless technology that uses multiple transmitters and receivers to transfer more data at the same time. In this project we will develop MIMO antenna system for mobile handset. MIMO can be built with inexpensive, low power consumption and with best SAR rate. Our goal is to design and simulate a size of 16.2×3×0.8 (max) MIMO antenna system with reduced coupling effect in CST software and to fabricate the design and compare the results of both simulated in CST software and fabricated form.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe final deliverable would be a fabricated MIMO antenna system for 5G enabled mobile handset. The antenna fabricated will be a low profile, microstrip antenna with SMA connectors for each element.
