Development of an explorer Robot for cleaning of Air conditioning duct
This project is deals with a development of an explorer robot for cleaning of Air Conditioning Duct. The purpose of this robot is to replace human-operator by a control system to perform cleaning task. Duct sizes are very small and difficult to cleaning by using human and then create a hazard environment inside the duct which causes health problems. This robotic Cleaning System is an Arduino controller based a low power and easy to control using sensors. This Air Duct Cleaning Robot proposes and effective duct cleaning method using mechanical mechanism and advanced control system. Mechanical mechanism include vacuum blower which suck duct particles and a mechanical brush which remove sticky particles. Robot motion is controlled using sensors which automatically move it. Robot moves with help of two back wheel and a one front 3-D wheel. DC gear motors are used and power is supplied using a dry cell battery. This Robot has light in weight and easily works in a closed environment. More efficient and advanced way to clean Air Ducts.
As the task of Duct Cleaning is inherently dangerous for the human beings. Sometime sizes of the duct so small man cannot enter inside to clean it. Toxic gasses and biological insect can damage the health of the worker also leads to respiratory diseases when work in long time working inside the duct. in this regard, the best is to utilize Robots to clean the small and long ducts of HVAC system. Air duct Cleaning Robot proposes an effective duct cleaning method by using Mechanical Mechanism and Control System. Usually ranging diameter of duct 4inch to 18inch. A robot is helpful to clean air duct which cannot done by man.

Vacuum cleaner clean the dust particles on the surface of duct.
The design of Air Duct cleaning robot is optimized to have performance at the best so, that is effective cleaning inside the duct and removing all the dust by using brushing and vacuum fans with high accuracy. In return, it reduces the human efforts and risk of job such as health and respiratory issues. Approximately every industries and malls and hotels use Air conditioning dust to supply fresh air inside the enviroment. So its cleaning is very important and this project is benefical on that places
This robot has 3 wheels drive vehicle. Two wheels drive through DC Gear Motor and one 3D wheel is used to make freely rotation. The independent motor is controlled by an H-Bridge circuit. The purpose of the driving the wheel independently is that it causes the robot to be easily and effectively controlled by Arduino based programmed circuit. On the periphery of base, there are three proximity sensor that has been installed to detect the clearance distance between walls and robot during movement. Differential method is used to rotate the chassis of robot.
