The practicality of the system will be managed via using a smartphone that helps to operate the augmented reality-based app, which will be helpful for the student in every aspect of education.
All-important points are highlighted which covered in state of art how the AR is used in different areas of life. How life can be made easier to use this concept of AR The feasibility of computer vision-based approaches to proceed and enhanced augmented reality system for an application. This feasibility report all it is discussed that how technically it works by using some software/languages(C#, AR) and hardware (smartphones) which specifications are defined, how AR is providing virtual entertainment. All the functionalities and non-functionalities of the system are discussed in this report. The aim is to create easiness for students and solved their problems in terms of understanding the complex concept, which is difficult to imagine.
Project ObjectivesOur Project object is to duplicate the main events of our life. Augmented reality creates a multifarious view for the user which is the mixture of virtual reality with the actual world and the user cannot be able to clarify the variance between the virtual augmentation and the real world. Virtual augmentation consists of an output device, implementation of Augmented Reality is a mobile application where virtual objects appear over the image many applications use Augmented Reality like Snapchat it can be used not only for virtual participation but also for education. The main goal of this project is to create a virtual 3D View of diagrams captures from the books and adds super unique features that give benefits and creates a learning environment. It enhances the features of the diagram and makes them interesting for educators.
Project Implementation MethodWe have used a Dell workstation for the building of our project, but this is not compulsory for the AR project that only this PC has to use, any sort of PC or laptop can be utilized for this. But it is important to choose a heavy machine for this because the software which is using for the implementation (Unity MD 3DS Max) are quite heavy applications so they need a lot of memory and space. For this the system requires must be with 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1050TI Graphics Card 4GB.
Benefits of the ProjectThis project is to make an application by using the concept of Augmented reality to increase the level of interest to study and the medical students study through a diagram of body parts but the only theory is boring so through this app students interest level will be high and easily they can zoom in and out and make 3D view using their smartphones. The user can enjoy the learning process. All the phenomena are difficult to observe but using this technology helps them to understand. This learning increases the understanding of concepts and can improve thinking skills. Augmented reality is a kind of futuristic technology, but a form of it has been around for years. The application of Augmented Reality is everlasting. Augmented based Mobile Apps is creating a revolution in the industry. The purpose of AR is to display info that is co-related to the real Environment. The maximum $122 billion worth of AR in the market to mix reality with 3D effects in images.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe have designed an augmented reality mobile application, which is based on education, which will scan the images and show the 3D view of the scan images. The purpose to design the app is to give a clear vision of the image for better understanding. Moreover, the details of the images in text format are also provided for a better understanding. This app will facilitate the students, teachers, and everyone who wants to get knowledge but our main target is students who face difficulty in understanding the images, which are in the book. 3D Models will help the students. Creating the template of the application using adobe illustrator which is graphics software that helps us to create templates. Android Studio is the Integrated Development platform for building android apps, which are used for installing some software development kits. For application, C# is used. For Augmented reality, we are using 3D max software for animations and creating models. GIMP software is using for image manipulations. Unity game engine used for assembling the 3D models with AR functionality to make a mobile compatible application.
