The advancement of hardware and signal processing tools enabled the use of brain waves for communication between humans and computers. Our aim is to develop a very simple and cheap EEG device able to measure electrical activity of brain which can help person to control different electronic devices using Brain Computer Interface (BCI). Commercial EEG devices are costly depending on the complexity of the instrumentation. We shall design and implement a low-cost, single-channel, EEG device while preserving a sufficient level of accuracy.

- To develop device able to measure electrical activity of brain
- Help person to control different electronic devices using Brain Computer Interface (BCI)
- Design a device which gives us functional data that can be used to control multiple electronics devices
- To develop a cost-effective device
Initially we shall design a circuit diagram to extract the signals from the brain using electrodes and implement on hardware to test it. Then we shall observe the output taken from the circuit and design filters to filter out the noise and amplify signals to get useful outputs from the circuit.
