These farms are mostly constraints by the lack of cooling system and reduces hygiene standards, often resulting in high microbial contamination of the milk. Due to high nutrient contents and almost neutral pH value of milk, bacteria growth occurs rapidly after milking. Under warm climatic conditions, the bacteria content in raw milk can exceed the maximum level allowed by food safety laws after 2 – 5 hours. Lack of quality often leads to rejections of milk at the collection centers, causing significant income losses to milk producers, particularly during the warm seasons.
Our project is design and fabrication of milk transportation tank.Nowdays milk is requirement of every house and is our daily useable product, if it is unhygienic it led to many diseases. Mostly, in our country milk is stored and transported in zinc coated tank, plastic bottles, and cans, more ever shopkeepers and suppliers used many kinds of chemicals to increase quantity milk in cheap way. And if milk is not stored and maintained on proper temperature it spoils after some time due to attack of bacteria. Bacteria start attacking on milk if its temperature is above 4 oC. our main concern is to design an advanced milk transportation tank where we will do cooling through DC refrigeration system which will help supplier to provide good quality milk to the consumer without any spoiling.

- Maintain milk at temperature less than on which bacteria start affecting quality of milk
- Awareness in the society about the hazards of spoiled milk and their effects on human health.

- Firstly we will go to food safety authority and we will discuss with them the current problems of milk spoilage in conventional milk cans during tranportation in summer.
- Then we will share the benefits of our advanced milk transportation tank and about our design features.
- We will then show them the difference between our tank and those avaliable in the market and the effects of spoiled milk on human health.
- After the approval from food safety authority we will then bring awarness among people about the hazards of spoiled milk,the reaction of conventional tank with the milk and their effects on human health.
- To bring awarness in people we will make use of different social media platforms where a fully defined procedure will be shown to them.
- We will also aware the daily milk distributor about benefits of our tank that how it will save them from financial losses by preventing the milk from spoilage which will ultimately satisfy the customer as well as customer will not complain about the milk quality.
- At the end we will commercialize our milk transportation tank and request the food safety authority to recommed our milk tank to milk suppliers.
Following are the benefits of our project
- The cooling system that we are doing in our project will save the milk from spoilage.
- The quality of the milk will be preserved because due to the proper cooling system distributer will not use ice for cooling purpose, etc.
- Milk distributors will suffer no financial losses due to milk spoilage.
- PH sensor will be insatalled which will measure PH value of milk, this will give us the indication that wheather milk is in healthy condition or spoiled.
- Filter will be installed at the top with which we can find any adulteration in milk.
- Health and safety of people.
- Milk will be hygenic because there will be a proper valve installed at the outlet so distributer will not open and close the can head for distributing milk which will save the milk from being polluted.
