Hybrid cars are nowadays on roads, saving environment from harmful gases in the populated areas. However, in third world countries majority of people use bikes (motor cycles). These bikes pollute the atmosphere with exhaust gases. Hybridizing these bikes can protect us from harmful atmosphere. The idea of this project is that the bikes shall run on batteries at low speeds i.e. when these are in populated areas. As soon as a bike gains speed, which means that it is outside of the populated area, it will shift from batteries to engine and the batteries shall be recharged by the engine.

A hybrid bike fitted with motor and batteries for powering at low speeds and engine for powering at high speeds as well as recharging the batteries. A computerized changeover system shall be fitted for shifting from motor to engine and vice versa depending on the speed limits as well as the charging condition of the batteries
