The smart, technologically advanced glove have advanced circuit design for conversion of sign to text and speech.This glove help to remove communication barrier between normal and dumb people.Sensors are used for the detection of sign and then further processed by pic microcontroller. The text output is displayed on lcd .For voice section bluetooth module is used which is pair with android.Android is used for speech output
The main objective of this project is to help dumb people by removing communication barrier.
To convert American sign language into voice.
To convert American sign language into text.
Implementation of complete hardware consists of complete implementation of the sign to speech/text conversion system. We used Flex sensors which detect the sign language of the mute people, voltage booster circuit in order to provide the external clock to the pic16f887a because this microcontroller do not have an internal clock. LCD is interfaced with the pic microcontroller.Pic is the main component of the whole system and thus we can say that it is the brain of the system sign to speech/text conversion. LCD is used to display the text output. Moreover Audio Module also interfaced with Pic and hence use for the speech output of the system. All parts are combined on single Vero board and the connected with each other by the process of soldering.
