Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryIn this project, we are designing and developing IOT based Hazard Detection Node, Networks and Monitoring platform.That Node includes diffeerent type of sensors, like temperature,humidity,intensity of light and smoke sensors.Node will collect this data from sensors and send it to multiple Gateways.A sensor node module will be designed to get the corresponding sensors’ values and prepare payload for transmission over long range modulation method.
Project Objectives- To develop a real-time turnkey solution to detect and monitor the potential hazards in an indoor/outdoor environment.
- To maintain and analyse the indoor and outdoor environment of any social place.
- To take measures after analyzation of data received by different sensors on node.
- To transfer your data through long ranges also.(as we are using LORA module for long range data sharing).
- To also control temperature,light and humidity of your remote location.
- A sensor node module will be designed to get the corresponding sensors’ values and prepare payload for transmission over long range modulation method.
- Power optimization techniques will be proposed to minimize the power consumption of the nodes.
- Moreover, a robot or drone can be used to deploy the nodes to a remote location for monitoring purpose.
- A gateway will be developed to receive the payload over privately designed network. The gateway will be responsible to receive the payloads, perform the authentication and generate mission critical alarms.
- At the same time, the gateway will perform data acquisition in order to prepare the database for analysis and visualization purpose.
- Finally, a visualization platform will be developed to do real-time monitoring of the sensor nodes.
- Different ML/AI methodologies can be used in this project to maximize the performance.
- We can get real-time information on critical climate factors including, temperature, humidity, light exposure across the remote location.
- We can control the environment by just giving command to ours node through a long range.
There is data communication between Node and Gateway, and we are developing our own private network for this purpose. That network is LORA based Network. This network does not depends on different communication networks like 3G,4G,5G, or Optical fiber.When our gateway locks the data taken fron sensor node to a remote location , then it will use WiFi or internet.
The otther scenario can be that if our gateway gets data , then we connect it to bluetooth or with mobile app and visualize that data on mobile phone also.
